Class Description:

Etching is a surface technique used to create marks, texture, and pattern on metal by protecting certain areas and allowing others to be gently “bitten” to form a design. In this 2-day workshop, you’ll etch one brass sheet with your own bold pattern, then transform it into a finished pair of post earrings—cutting, refining, finishing, and soldering posts for a clean, wearable result.

Prerequisite: Students must have completed my Basic Introduction to Metalsmithing course
