Ceren Degirmenci

Ceren Derkan Degirmenci was born in 1990 in Erzurum, Turkey. In 2008, she graduated from Avni Akyol Fine Arts High School in Istanbul, Turkey. She then pursued her higher education at Marmara University, Ataturk Faculty of Education, where she graduated in 2013 as a Fine Arts Teacher. During her undergraduate studies, she participated in the Erasmus program and studied for six months at Kunstuniversitat Linz in Austria.   In 2017, she completed her Master of Arts degree in Plastic Arts at Dogus University, Institute of Social Sciences, in Istanbul, Turkey. Her thesis focused on Islamic Art. Between 2013 and 2015, she worked as a Fine Arts Teacher in Turkey.   Since 2015, she has been living in Saudi Arabia. After residing in Ras Tanura for several years, she moved to Dhahran a year ago. She is also a mother to a young son. Currently, she continues her studio work and teaches art classes in Dhahran, KSA.
