Marwa Abouzeid is an Australian-Egyptian multidisciplinary artist, entrepreneur, and mentor, weaving together a journey of creativity, community, and empowerment. Now based in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, Marwa’s work celebrates the power of art to connect and uplift.
In 2018, she founded Artvision in South Australia — a vibrant space offering programs in drawing, painting, digital art, and ukulele. Her workshops welcomed children, adults, seniors, migrants, people with disability, and refugees, creating safe havens for self-expression, skill-building, and belonging.
Marwa’s passion for nurturing communities extended beyond the studio. She served on arts advisory committees across Sydney and Adelaide, helping to shape cultural projects, exhibitions, and opportunities for local artists.
Her advocacy work with non-profit organisations championed inclusion and accessibility in the arts, particularly for culturally diverse communities, people with disabilities, and young creatives.
